Project & Impact

These are living projects & luxury products.
Each initiative below represents a stage in how Isla Eden builds ethical supply chains — starting from the land, through farmers and communities, and eventually into thoughtfully made goods.
This page exists to show where we are today, what we’re building, and how each project supports a new system — with transparency at every step.

Our Purpose

Isla Eden is a community-led social enterprise building ethical supply chains from farm to finished product.

We work directly with farmers, artisans, and local communities to:

  • To honor heritage crops
  • Restore land instead of depleting it
  • Provide fair, dignified livelihoods

Every project you see here works to connects to what we offer in our shop — not as commodities, but creating a full ecosystem built with care and transparency.

Core Projects

Isla Eden Aquaponics

What
The Central Visayas’ first large-scale aquaponic farm, where fish and plants grow in harmony.

Why It Matters
This soil-free, water-smart system produces nutrient-rich food while using less water and fewer inputs — proving that farming can nourish people without destroying land.

Isla Eden Training & Development Center

What it is
A space for learning, growth, and community-building through nature-inspired programs.

Why it matters
The center trains farmers, students, and community members in regenerative practices — ensuring skills, innovation, and knowledge remain local, shared, and sustained.

Purpose
To help communities grow with dignity, not dependency.

How Our Work Grows

Isla Eden is built around heritage crops, one plant at a time — each one strengthening the next.
We begin by supporting land and farmers first, then carefully develop crops and materials only when ethical foundations are firmly in place.

Aquaphonics

Farmers First.
2022 - Present
Building regenerative systems and farmer-first infrastructure.

Lubi Nucifera

Pursuit of Coconuts
2024 - Present
One of the largest exports in the Philippines are coconuts and yet farmers receive less benefits.

Tableya

Cacao Revival
Project Launch Date Q1 2026.
Once a top exporter, Philippine cacao fell behind global markets. Bohol’s heritage farms still thrive — we’re reconnecting them to opportunities and rebuilding what was lost.

Kopi

Coffee Reimagined.
Project Launch Date Q1 2026
Supporting local growers across all four Philippine coffee varieties.

Elemi — Uplifting, Clarifying, Versatile in Aromatherapy

Often called the Frankincense of Asia, Elemi has always been here before the people. Abundant across the Philippines and deeply rooted in culture, Elemi remains one of our most overlooked natural resources — known in tradition, yet rarely understood in full.

Our work begins not with extraction, but with attention. Together with local communities, we walk the land, locate existing elemi trees, and gently document where they grow and how they are cared for — allowing elemi to be known before it is developed.

The Elemi Collective is a shared research journey built on stewardship and respect.

When we reach 1,000 annual Heritage Members, you’ll receive high-value products — and help protect and shape the future of Elemi in Bohol.

Membership Supports Elemi

Elemi development moves forward through shared support and responsibility.

The Elemi Collective is our way of ensuring research, testing, and product development happen only when the foundations are ready — ethically, transparently, and without shortcuts.
